“I’ve chased you across time and space, and you’ve never been able to get away.”

For Adeline Reilly, moving back to Seattle was supposed to be the perfect fresh start. With her flourishing career as an author, and the inheritance of her late grandmother’s gothic mansion, there is nothing to stand in her way.

But Adeline isn’t alone in Parson’s Manor.

It isn’t the angry souls haunting the hallways of her childhood home that Adeline fears–it’s the mysterious break-ins, roses appearing, and threatening messages that somehow sound more like eerie promises.

Adeline has a stalker.

Yet, she quickly discovers she’s not the first person in her family to fall victim to a shadow in pursuit.

Left behind are her great-grandmother’s haunting journals detailing the story of her own phantom, and subsequently, her brutal murder.

Parson’s Manor now holds more than just Adeline’s memories—it houses a grim future that could lead to history repeating itself.

If she doesn’t fall in love with her stalker first.

B-RANDS REVIEW: 4/5 CATS CATCHING MOUSES

Hello, Fellow Bookworms!

Thank you so much for stopping by to check out my latest book review!

First off, If you are under the age of 18+ heck I might even up the age group up to 21+ haha, do not pick this book up!!

Whew, chile, haunting Adeline had me blushing so hardcore. LADIES when I say that this is a very explicit, hardcore, extreme book you have to read; you haveeeee to read it. It has a combination of gore, love, sex, anger, and pain. I want to be truthful and say I put off reading this book for a little bit because of the cover. In some of the books that I cover, I mention how much I'm not a huge romantic book reader but this is one I have to ask every reader if they've read. This book also has quite a unique follow especially on social media you can see what I mean!

I gave this book the rating I did because as good as this read was, the ending was drag-a-lagging.. I found myself almost bored and the over explaning of situations toward the last 100 pages. That was the only reason. Give this book a read and let me know if you felt the same!!!

Would you fall in love with your stalker? After when you find out he's attractive?

  • YES. He's clearly obsessed with me.

  • NO. He has problems to be stalking me.

"Reading can reduce the risk of developing Alzheimer's disease."
